My wife and I made a batch of rose water soap with coconut oil. Can you tell me how long this needs to cure? In your book 'Organic Farming' you mention the saponification value is bad data, can you give more information on this?

    I can use it right away without any big problems. I made various soaps based on saponification value. I found that the manufacturing process was very difficult when making soap based on saponification value, so I found a new method that ignored saponification value.

    Saponification value may still be valid information, but the manufacturing process is too difficult.

      Hiya,

      I wonder if it is because of the method, or perhaps needing to leave some unreacted KOH for its powerful effects?
