Cold/passive compost!

I added all the ingredients, then added JMS, and closed it air-tight. This bin does not have any holes, although it is open at the bottom, where all the stuff is touching the soil. Is there something should I do to this pile, as far as the ratio N: C water, and air? After two months of anaerobic composting, I realize, the smell was very strong and it was bacterial-dominated. So I airated with a PVC pipe with a whole bunch of holes drilled on the sides, I also changed the C: N ratio. This pile is not anaerobic compost but rather cold/passive compost. Any thoughts on this subject or suggestions on this matter?

    "method to minimize nutrition loss" why is this so important in JADAM.

      Although the anaerobic composting method causes odor, it is a simple method to minimize nutritional loss. I don't think your method is bad either. However, there will be limits to getting rid of odors. Please fill it with enough water.
