Last year, I harvested 20-tons from 2 acre of kiwi. You can get at least 18-tons, well-shaped fruits from that. I was able to harvest 20-tons in this year and it is possible to harvest 25-tons to 30-tons from next year. I sell the half of kiwi through Agriculture Association and the another half of kiwi through the internet or direct dealing. Moreover, I make a jam or juice with ugly fruits.
I was able to gain more income around $40,000 last year. I think I can earn $100,000, if it keeps going. I don't worry about the expenses of materials. I just apply various kind of JLF and non antibiotic cow dung after ripening for 3 years. I apply 2 to 3 sacks of ripening non antibiotic cow dung per one kiwi tree.
Controlling coccids and stinkbugs are very important. You can control them with JS, JWA, Korean pasques flower root JHS and jerusalem artichoke JHS. I apply it once every ten days. These ingredients cost only $100 (I can use it for a year) and I spend $130 for cattle manure. Therefore, I spend total less than $5,000 a year including the cost of advertisement, and labor. There is no problem living with farming 2 acre of kiwi for a couple.
