Rice bran and grass are sufficient for pig feed

default_news_ad1

- Mr. Chanmo Kim of Goseong raises 50 pigs, has 3 years of experience in organic farming

Mr. Chanmo Kim mainly grows kiwis but has about 50 pigs on the side on his 6 ac farm. He feeds pigs rice bran and grass collected from nearby. Animals provide him excellent fertilizer. Truly a wonderful model of recycling farm..

People worry that feeding rice bran will increase fat but Mr. Kim says feeding grass together cures that problem. Also, he says you should butcher the pigs before they exceed 100 kg (220 lb); then the fat won't be too thick.

Mr. Kim pours bean-boiled water (byproduct of nearby tofu factory) over the rice bran and lets it ferment for about 3 days. He adds wild grass twice a day that he cut and collected.

Mix 10 shovels of rice bran with 2 buckets of bean-boiled water. Let it ferment for 3 days. If it's over-fermented and discolored, pigs don't like it.

What Jadam / KNF product could be used instead of bean-boiled-water to ferment
    the bran?
