JWA with sunflower is not working... what am I doing wrong???

    I found a chart online dictating the saponification values of different oils. I used Hemp seed oil which had a similar saponification value to canola oil but costs more.
    Sunflower oil if thicker will need more soda and water to get the ideal viscosity. You can backward calculate the saponification value Master Cho used and compare to the chart and adjust your recipe accordingly.
    My Hemp seed oil JWA came out less viscous than I would like but still gets extremely foamy and has a complex blend of fatty acids I imagine helps the microbes.

      The color and viscosity of the resulting product varies depending on the oil. Even if it appears milky, it may be normal. Since I used light water, I think it can be used.
