    well, what about the brackish water does it not have "various microorganisms." or is it just the saline water? Can brackish water be a replacement for saline water with Jadam methods.

      Imran- in the US, sea water means saltwater from the ocean. I don’t know anyone in the US who would be confused by the term “sea water”. The book says you can use rock salt instead, which is what I do since I am not near the sea. (The minerals are the same)

        Seawater refers to water from the sea or ocean. It is also called sea water. On average, the salinity of seawater around the world is about 3.5%.

        Although the overall salinity of seawater is between 3.1% (based on 100ml) and 3.8%, this does not mean that the salinity of seawater around the world is uniform. Where it mixes with fresh water from river mouths or near melting glaciers, seawater can be substantially salinized.
